How to make moon sand.

 Hey readers,

Looking for some sensory fun then look no further than this easy activity you can do at home. It is really simple to make.

How to make moon sand.

Ingredients.

* 8 tbsp of cornflour.

* 1 tbsp vegetable or sunflower oil.

* A few drops of food colouring.

How to make the moon sand.

1. Put the flour in the bowl, then slowly stir in the oil and food colouring.

2. Rub the oil and colouring through the flour with your fingertips, as if you were making a pasty until the mixture feels sandy and no oil is visible.

 If the mixture feels too dry, add a few more drops of oil, or if the mixture is too soft, add some more flour. The consistency should be dry, shapeable clay, and crumbles fairly easily squeezed.

  5. What a great idea! We'll need to try this out in the half term. I love kinetic sand, but like Michele, had no idea you could make a version of this at home. Thank you for sharing this on #mischiefandmemories x

  6. My kids adore kinetic sand but all the colours have mixed so we have a rather unpleasant brown. I had no idea we could make our own! Thanks for linking up with #MischiefAndMemories
