7 things to do when you are having a bad day.

Hey readers,

From time to time we all have bad days and that is ok. I have compiled some ways to help you when you are having a bad day. These tips are been successful for may so it is not just empty words.

1. Breathing exercises.

A way to help destress is to try out the breathing exercises and making sure you use deep breathes and use your lungs properly. Doing these exercises helps slow down your breathing and can be really therapeutic to just stop and focus on your breathing. Youtube is a brilliant source of visual aids to run through the step-to-step guide to doing deep breathing.

2. Meditation.

Meditation is so useful to help calm you down, give you something to think about other than the negative feelings that you hold. It helps distract you and give you something to focus on that can help make you feel calmer and relaxed.

3. Hot bath.

There is something about having a hot bath that really calms me down. I feel my muscles after been tense all day to soak them in hot water really beneficial. I just love after feeling really relaxed and putting on really soft PJs helps me chill out.

4. Watch a film.

A brilliant way to escape is with a film and getting a nice throw to settle down. It is a great way to switch off because often I am feeling exhausted after a bad so relaxing with a film is a great way to unwind.

5. Unplug.

The internet is addictive, it has its positives with having a wealth of information, interactions and entertainment. The downfall is it can lead to obsessions or transfixion and makes you feel rubbish. This is not great when you already feeling pants. I find just turning my phone off for an hour or two really helps me just switch off and allows me that time to think by myself.

6. Feel it.

Sometimes, when you are feeling bad instead of running away from the emotions, it is just good to be mindful even though it can be challenging. It is ok to have them negatives feelings, it is ok to cry and be angry. It is much better to have it there rather than trying to block it out or go into denial. Feeling them emotions is more practical and it may take less time to have to own them. When you explore them emotions it allows you to understand and accept what is happening to you.

7. Blame game.

I know it is so easy to find anyone other than yourself to pass the blame on to and ok sometimes it may be another person's fault. But that doesn't mean that we have to hold on to that anger, it just causes negativity and by letting it go gives back that freedom to move forward.

What things do you do to help when having a bad day? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comment section below.

Bring winter clothes back to life with Ace for Colours Powder! **AD**

Hey readers,

We now have said goodbye to summer for this year anyway and we are in the middle of autumn.

So, now for me would be a good time to think about my winter clothing and getting prepared for when the winter season arrives.

I have tested out Ace for Colours Powder to help give some of my less colourful items a bit more oomph.

A little bit about Ace colour powder.

* ACE makes life easy with the never-ending school laundry pile by gently removing stains.

*ACE keeps garments bright, robust and clean meaning clothes last for longer.

* Keep colours bright and fresh with ACE for Colours Powder.

* ACE for Colours Powder comes in a fully recyclable Tetra Pak.

* Use ACE in your daily wash to keep clothes looking fresher for longer.

* Call to action: Pick up the ACE product range including ACE for Colours Powder st the nearest Morrison's store or buy online on Amazon.

Here are some tips to help get you ready with your winter wardrobe.

1. Rotate.

Now I am putting away the lighter items such as shorter legging, sandals, and short pyjamas and swapping over to my warmer clothing for winter.

I like to revolve my clothing depending on the seasons. This gives me a chance to refresh my mind of what my winter items are as I have not seen them for a long time and then you forget how much clothing you have.

2. Ace for Colours Powder.

A tip would be to get some of the duller clothed items and use Ace for Colours Powder to give a reinvigorate your clothes.

Ace for Colours Powder helps remove tough stains and bring coloured garments back to life. A wash will blow off some cobwebs as like my winter items have been stored away for six months in a dark cubicle.

Nothing feels good when you get your clothes washed and hung up in the wardrobe all ready for winter.
I love a jumper to keep me cosy in the winter.

3. Comfort first.

For me when thinking about my winter wardrope it is all about comfort and having soft materials.

I love fluffy socks, fleecy PJs and long cotton coats to keep me warm when it is wet and cold.

Nothing bits cosy jumpers and giving them life with Ace Colours Powder to make them soft and remove stains is an added bonus.

All about comfort.

4. Dye.

Now, I am quite conscious of what I am buying and not buying new clothing. Therefore a good way to make old clothes feel new is to simply dye them with a different colour.

It will give that new factor to it and you don't need to buy new clothing win-win.

5. Sell.

When sorting out your clothing and changing the summer items over to winter items a good idea is to sieve items you don't really want.

A great thing to do to earn a few quid is to sell them to someone else that will home them, therefore being more environmentally friendly all round.

6. Charity shops.

If you want to buy clothing for the winter then instead fo heading for the fast-fashion check out the local charity shops.

You will be amazed at the range of quality items they have in charity shops and it saves you money so your purse is happy.

ACE for Colours Powder.

So I tried out the ACE for Colours Powder and washed some of my favourite winter items.

Below is my lovely thick and warm winter coat. I love this coat. It did have some stains but found the ACE for Colours Powder helped get rid of the stains and also helped bring back the washed-out colour of the coat so it feels brand new with it's a bright colour.

What tips do you have to help get your wardrobe reading for the winter? Love to hear your comments in the section below.

8 ways to deal with blogging burnout.

Hey readers,

As a blogger, it can be overwhelming at times. It can be relentless because if you want to be present in the blogging world you have to keep at it and stay up to date.

There is a lot of things you need to do other than writing blog posts. Yes, I am not a professional blogger but of course, I want people to read my work hence why it is out there in the public domain.

It all takes time as you need to share your work through social media and keeping them social media channels updated so you don't get lost in the noisy blogging world.

At times it can be relentless and you lose focus on why you are doing the whole blogging business. It can be overwhelming especially when you have other things going on in your life.

Sometimes, I experience burnout where I have done to much focus on blogging that just needs a break and refocuses on what I am doing as a blogger.

So, here are some tips to help avoid blogger burnout and keep you motivated to carry on blogging.

1. Time out.

Take time away from blogging and give yourself a chance to clear your head from the noises regarding blogging.

A change of scenery can really help bring back focus to think about what it is your doing and why.

2. Organisation.

Have a calendar and plan what to do on each day so you don't feel overwhelmed. This gives you back control and helps keep things clearer in your mind as to what you are doing.

3. Delegate.

A key skill as a blogger is to learn that not everything can be done in one. To learn to delegate the less important tasks for another day is something really essential to master as a blogger. Let's face it Rome wasn't built in a day.

4. No!

It's ok to say no because at the end of the day it is your blog and your choices. If you don't want to do something then don't it is as simple as that.

I think with time as a blogger you grow with confidence and learn that you have a voice and you can use it.

Remember at the end of the day it is your blog and you can do whatever you want with it, that is the beauty of blogging.

5. Rountine.

I am a sucker for a routine because it gives me a rhythm to go about doing my blogging work.

I always start my week with the goals that I want to do such as write x blog posts a week, sharing the content, using blog linkies and comments, etc.

Then I go on to assign the tasks to specific days so it doesn't overwhelm me.

I have for me personally having this blog rhythm makes me feel in control as I know what to expect and do on certain days. It almost becomes second nature and it is like my brain is prepared to go forth and crack on.

6. Offline.

Spending time with people who don't care about blogging gives you that break from constantly thinking about blogging.

7. The Begining.

If you are finding you feel lost with blogging and not know where to go, go back to the beginning when you started blogging and remind your self why you started and how you felt.

8. Comparing.

I know it is natural to compare yourself to others but this is one of the worst things you can do as a blogger.

Remember this is your blogging journey and only you can walk down this road. You can't be on someone else's road as it is there journey and everyone goes to their destination different.

If your struggling then a good idea is to write down your achievements that you have done as a blogger. Remember slow and steady wins the race.

What ways have helped you deal with blog burnout if you're a blogger? I love to hear your thoughts in the comment section down below.

8 ways to to stay safe online.

Hey readers,

The internet is amazing and you can get so much out of it.

However, it does come with dangers so it is important to be mindful of what you are doing and making sure that it is safe.

Below I have given you my top 8 tips on how to be online.

1. Personal information.

A simple rule to stay safe online is don't give out personal information and limit what you share such as your address, mobile number or email address.

Think before you post online such as videos yourself, once you put out the information out there it is easy for people to see and download.

Don't befriend people you don't know if you have any concerns talk to someone you trust.

Remember that not everyone is who they say online so always be cautious.

2. Careful what you are downloading.

A big thing for cybercriminals to use apps to trick you into downloading that contains malware. It is important to check beforehand if an app is legit and if something doesn't feel right or you don't trust that app then it is best not to.

3. Invest in a VPN.

A good thing to invest in a VPN which stands for Virtual Private Network. How VPNs work is by providing a secure and encrypted connection to provide greater security.

You can access the internet through a remote server and then hiding your real location, browsing history and encrypting your data.

Overall it gives you to be safe and anonymous and less risk bad happening when browsing the internet.

4 Look out for the latest scams.

Scammers occur frequently on the internet. Be mindful of the spelling and the wording of emails, normally the email looks odd and the spelling is dreadful.

Also when an email is to send it doesn't use your name but something like a dear customer. There is normally a link that the scammer is trying to get you to click on and also desperate for your personal information.

Finally, the email is done in a text within the picture and the image contains a hyperlink embedded within the image is a bogus site.

5. Strong passwords.

A key way to protect your safety online is to create strong passwords. Make the password with 12 characters, including numbers, include & and % and capital letters.

Make sure you use different passwords instead of one password for each site.

6. Avoid HTTP websites.

It is better to avoid HTTP websites and use https as they have a lock and are secure to use.

7.  Use caution when meeting someone new online.

Remember to meet people in a public place and make sure that someone knows who you are meeting and when. If something does not feel right walk away and find somewhere safe to call someone.

8. Internet history.

It is advised to clear browsing history often to maintain your privacy and not hold onto old cookies which can still be used.

What ways help you keep safe on the internet? I love to hear your thoughts in the comment section down below.

Ongoing minefield of parenting

Hey readers,

Sometimes I lie in my bed at four in the morning and I am just staring at the ceiling and my tummy is filled with dread. My thoughts are filled with fear and I wonder how I am going to get through another day as a parent.

I don't feel confident at all and I am always questioning everything. Sometimes, I get annoyed with my husband, how he could allow me to be a parent when I am totally useless. I am always tired and things seem to take a long time to master. I seem to make the same mistakes over and over again.
I am now sitting in my son's assembly hall waiting and feeling yet again that familiar feeling of being a true outcast or black sheep. This feeling is not new to me, it comes frequently where I feel like I am an outsider looking through the glass where I just can't reach through. It feels so close yet so far away.

There are other times when I get jealous of my husband, he can just get things and communicate really well. I am sitting back permanently struggling and my tummy is in knots with anxiety.

He does try to understand my neurosis bless him but he is the complete opposite of me. I watch on as he mingles and just gets these social rules that I seem to get muddled and fail all the time. I just get things, or I am just an anxious state of a person.

That is one good thing about summer holidays even though I am dealing with the change but not having to think. I over-analysis I know but at least it gives me a break where I don't have to feel completely sh*t again. I know I will never be one of them, good parents that I so desperately want to be, I mess up it is a natural talent of mine. I just get so fed up with it all and after takes its time.

It hurts deep and it so damn frustrating. It is a minefield and just getting through the day is a challenge in its self. The thoughts that trigger me are so strong, they keep me awake and let me every time my downfalls. I just need to a breather, time away and not to think that would be totally blissful.

I remember when I was pregnant dreaming of being this type of parent that would swim into motherhood like flies to poo. Sadly, it hasn't happened, to delusion, I am nothing that I expected. I thought I would be good at communicating because I was living this role as a mother that it would all somehow come to a place.

That I would have this maternal instinct. The only thing that I am good at it appears to be is hanging up the washing and creating random fun stories for my boy. It is not much, I am never good at small talk but I take it now and I got to learn to accept the situation for what it is.

Nothing to you

I see you,
Looking at me,
Not knowing how
To work me out.
Again I end up
Nothing,
insignificant.
I go back to hating
myself.
I go lower,
Hating me,
Dreading,
Feeling sick.
I am nothing,
Less value,
No one wants.

8 Ways to save money this autumn.

Hey readers,

As we are now in autumn and it won't be long before Christmas you may be thinking of ways to save money.

Well, I have complied with 8 ways to save money during autumn. Let's go...

1. Pumpkin items.

In the UK over recent years the sense and flavour of pumpkin spice has gotten very popular. You can be sure to find pumpkin flavoured pastries, coffees, hand wash, and candles to name a few.

Everywhere you turn it feels like something has pumpkin in it. The thing with pumpkin spice being a hype is that it has risen the cost of products to premium prices. Therefore meaning you will have to pay more because it is in-demand what with the influence social media has.

You don't need everything in pumpkin spice, your world won't stop just be sensible with your consumption and remember don't be fooled by social media who want you to buy pumpkin spice.

2. Seasonal foods.

Buying seasonal food can save you money because food that is produced closer to home is cheaper because it cost less to produce and transport to the supermarket.

Keep on track of what fruit and vegetables are in season as it is normally cheaper compared to out of season foods.

3. Do I need that?
When shopping it can be easy to impulsively and buy stuff that you may deep down not need.

A tip I love and use often is asking yourself do I really need that? Once you use this it does get easy and it is amazing how much you don't actually buy because you really think about whether you need something or not.

4. Christmas shopping.

I know it is not Christmas yet but it is a good time to start Christmas shopping. There are a lot of deals slowly coming out such as Tesco toys half-price sale and B & M sale where you can buy x2 toys for £16. So now is the grab a good deal.

5. Review your energy bill.

Now is the time to check if you are paying the right amount on your energy bill. Have a check around to see what company has the best deal. During the colder period, energy companies known for at times to raise their prices due to the high demand.

6. Cancel gym membership.

You don't have to be at the gym to get fit, you can go autumn walks or do exercise at home. You will save so much when your not tied down to a gym.

7. Autumn sales.

Autumn sales are the best time to get stuff for a good price. Remember though don't buy if you don't need it.

8. Draught proofing.

Autumn is the time to make sure that your home is draught-proof as this can keep your home warm and also save money on your energy bill.

All you need to for a simple effective way is to get draught strip and place it in the gap between the window/door and opening so it is sealed to stop any draught coming through.

It has been said that if you draught-proof your doors and windows you can save £20 a year.

Another tip is to have thick curtains to keep the warmth in as well.

There is also the option of buying draught excluders where you simply put at the bottom of the door to stop the draught coming into the room.

What way do you like to save money during the autumn season? I love to hear your thoughts in the comment section below.
